Happy Button - Two Ways
What happens when you ask two different AI models to do one simple, happy thing? You get the Double The Fun. I wanted to understand how Google Gemini and ChatGPT would handle the same, very basic request. At the moment the GPT version feels better, but that may be that I’ve got a lot more experience crafting custom models on that platform.
Anyway, I’ve built two Happy Buttons:
One as a Google Gemini Gem
One as a ChatGPT custom GPT
Both share the same purpose: to deliver a perfect little burst of joy, on demand. Every press brings you three small gifts in the same order: a piece of happy news, a cozy animal moment, and a mini pep talk. No doomscrolling, no debates, no darkness. Just a pocket of sunshine in your day.
While both Happy Buttons follow the same format, they’re powered by different large language models, a way to explore how different systems interpret the same creative brief, tone, and emotional goals. Do they feel different? Does one make you smile in a unique way? That’s what we’re curious about.
Press one, then the other. Compare how Gemini and GPT sprinkle their happiness. Maybe you’ll find a favorite — or maybe you’ll just collect a few extra smiles along the way.
Because in a world that often feels too complicated, pressing a Happy Button should always be simple.
