What was happening the night of your conception?

The Most Romantic Day in History (V2) turns your birthday into a time machine. Enter the day you were born, and the GPT rewinds approximately nine months to your likely conception. It then scours historical events, songs, movies and cultural moments from that period to tell a data‑driven love story about the world your parents were living in.

This new version does a few things:

  • Calculates a conception date based on your birthday and rewinds history.

  • Pulls notable news, pop culture and social trends from that time.

  • Narrates a playful story weaving together the events and emotions of that period.

  • Lets you adjust the date to explore alternate timelines.

The first version of this idea came from a project we did at The Barbarian Group for GE; it was manually assembled, took a couple months to source and build, and is easily one of my favorite, weirdest ideas to have made. V2 automates the storytelling with real‑time data and a bit more humor. It’s equal parts heartfelt and cheeky, much like the conversations that inspired it.
